For 30 years We work with Maria Elena, the managing director of a production company in El Salvador. Her social commitment, creativity, and quality impress us greatly, which is why we source all our hammocks, including the Louncher and Comfy, as well as the "Puente" and "Riviera" hammocks from there. For over 40 years, Maria Elena has consistently championed The company is committed to the welfare of its workers , the preservation of traditional weaving, and the environment. The company is committed to the survival of small-scale weaving in several rural communities in El Salvador, coordinating the purchase of raw materials, production, and distribution. The organization currently supports approximately 30 workshops with approximately 200 producers, some in very remote areas. Local support helps mitigate rural exodus due to poverty. A special focus is on integrating women into everyday production.
The weaver families benefit from fair wages, health insurance and educational programs for their children.

For orders from EU countries, goods are shipped from our German warehouse. No additional customs fees apply within the EU duty-free zone.
